EVALUATION OF THE ANXIETY LEVELS OF ORTHODONTICS PATIENTS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

SUMMARY BACKGROUND: We aimed to evaluate the anxiety of patients receiving orthodontic treatment during COVID-19 pandemic. METHODS: A 27-questions online questionnaire form was designed assess patients’ levels regarding pandemic with Google Forms (Google LLC, Mountain View,CA,ABD). RESULTS: 53.8%VP women more anxious than men about its effect on their treatments. 49.6%VP anxious,44.7%VP calm. 40.5% participants stated that they did not have any problems treatments pandemic.80.2%VP communicated orthodontist pandemic.97.3%VP said trust in management guidance pandemic.51.9%VP declared when attending appointments. most common complaint(21.4%) this period bracket breaking wire sinking. major concern affect delay (59.4%). CONCLUSION: It’s important inform process. Establishing a strong patient-clinician relationship is beneficial. VP severe adverse affects treatment.
